Telstra has recently announced the Tasmanian winners of the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards, celebrating and recognising outstanding and ambitious small and medium sized businesses that are making notable strides and moving Australia forward with their success.

Accelerating Women: The Bubble Launceston
The Bubble Launceston is a boutique specialist GP clinic providing sexual and
reproductive women’s health services with a large focus on pregnancy and postpartum.
Building Communities: Bridgewater Police and Community Youth Club
Bridgewater Police and Community Youth Club is an independent organisation that
specialises in youth engagement and support, for all ages and demographics.
Championing Health: Launceston Health Hub
Launceston Health Hub provides a wide variety of health services with the vision to be
Northern Tasmania’s leading health ecosystem.
Embracing Innovation and Outstanding Growth: Ellis Richmond
Ellis Richmond provides accounting services to help clients measure and manage carbon
emissions, helping them to understand their impact and how they can make a difference.
Promoting Sustainability: Aqua Clean Tas
Aqua Clean Tas is dedicated to developing high performance net cleaning systems by
implementing slow action high torque scrubbing blades instead of high pressure water to
clean netting, revolutionising net cleaning designs.

Telstra’s Best of Business Awards continues Telstra’s long legacy of awards programs that have recognised exceptional and prosperous small and medium businesses for more than 25 years, providing a platform to further their success and inspire others. Telstra Retail and Regional Executive, Amanda Hutton said, “Telstra is proud to recognise our Tasmanian winners, all of whom should be admired, appreciated and applauded for their notable performance.”
“To be recognised as a state winner in the Telstra Best of Business Awards is an incredible
achievement, and we hope this provides each business with a well-deserved moment of celebration for the amazing work they are doing in their community.” All winners have been through a rigorous judging process to uncover those businesses that had made
an impact in the areas and industries core to Australia’s economic and societal growth.
Judging criteria included: strategy and vision, customers and marketing, operations, people and culture, innovation and technology, social responsibility, and financial acumen. All state winners will now go on to represent their state and territory at the national experience on
Wednesday, 22 March, where they’ll pitch their business to an esteemed panel of Judges who
represent an incredible cross-section of skills and backgrounds from all across Australia.
