Stax, an Australian-born native AWS cloud management platform, announced a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS. Stax has increased its clientele by 300% in the past 12 months, and the three-year agreement with AWS will help it scale even faster.
How will AWS partnership bolster Stax’s expansion?
Supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Stax plans to focus on accelerating delivery of new and innovative services, growing in key sectors like Financial Services and Insurance, expanding into Southeast Asia and North America, and driving continued momentum with Independent Software Vendors (ISV), Startups and Small Medium Businesses (SMBs).
Amazon Web Services also plans to provide technical workshops and go-to-market product planning to help Stax launch Stax Solutions Hub, a repository of customer experience solutions built on AWS that can be immediately deployed into AWS Cloud environments.
The first solution to be made available on Stax Solutions Hub is Automated Data Analytics on AWS, a data warehouse tool that helps companies derive meaningful insights from data in a matter of minutes by consolidating data distributed across silos and applying governance controls. Stax Solutions Hub will be previewed at the AWS ANZ Summit in April 2023.
Stax is part of the AWS Partner Network (APN), a community of partners that leverages AWS programs, expertise, and resources to build, market, and sell customer offerings.
Stax’s cloud management platform is built on Amazon Web Services to provide resource-constrained technology teams with best practice cloud foundations and business resilience, and can deliver up to $1.2 million in cost savings over three years. The platform also provides real-time monitoring and security, and cost and compliance alerts, meaning AWS customers can build faster knowing their cloud environment is safe and up to date.
It is available direct to clients, and via Stax partners like CyberCX, Slalom, VoiceFoundry and Insight and on AWS Marketplace. The SCA with AWS will help Stax accelerate the launch of solutions like Discovery and Renovate, which aim to provide automated benchmarking reviews on a client’s cloud environment, so they remain up to date with AWS best practices.
What does the SCA mean for Stax and AWS?
“This SCA enhances our deep collaboration with AWS and will help Stax unlock new growth opportunities. It will also support us as we pursue our vision to make cloud accessible to everyone in an organisation, particularly marketing, finance, and other members of the C-Suite who are increasingly active in purchasing decisions for customer experience solutions and driving organisational cloud adoption,” said Adam Beavis, Managing Director at Stax.

“At a time when IT budgets are being squeezed and companies are finding it harder to source and retain talent, it’s even more critical to accelerate innovation and digitally transform in ways that optimise costs. This will help us drive customer efficiency in the cloud, allocating their resources to what truly matters to the business. We look forward to working with Amazon Web Services to expand Stax into Southeast Asia and North America,” Adam said.
“We are excited to support Stax as they help customers and partners to migrate and modernise their applications with AWS in a secure and resilient environment,” said Jamie Simon, Director of Independent Software Vendors, and Digital Native Business at AWS ANZ.
“Through this Strategic Collaboration Agreement, we look forward to supporting Stax’s global impact as they help customers and partners accelerate their cloud transformation journeys. The new Stax Solutions Hub will help businesses realise the benefits of the cloud faster, enabling easy access to advanced technologies that improve business outcomes.”
