Tech talent provider Sparta Global joins the illustrious B Corp club

David Rai, Chief Executive Officer at Sparta Global

Sparta Global, a provider of high-quality emerging business and tech talent, has achieved the internationally recognised Certified B Corporation™ (B Corp) status. The B Corp certification recognises that Sparta Global has met extremely high standards of social and environmental impact and is actively helping to build a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable economy.

What is B Corp?

To become a Certified B Corporation, companies undergo an in-depth assessment with over 300 questions on socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency., and must receive a minimum verified score of 80 on the B Impact Assessment.

Over 150,000 companies across the globe have taken the B Corp Assessment since the beginning of the B Lab movement back in 2006, but Sparta Global is now part of a community of just 6,279 businesses globally who have certified as B Corps. The B Corp community in the UK includes 1,100 companies including well-known brands such as The Guardian, innocent, Patagonia, The Body Shop and organic food pioneers Abel & Cole.

Sparta Global secured an overall score of 109.4 in its B Impact Assessment, whereas a company must score a minimum of 80 points on the assessment in order to become B Corp. certified. Sparta Global’s impressive total score was based on its individual impact across the areas of governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.
