Dr. Jens Amail has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SNP by the board of directors, commencing January 16, 2023. Jens Amail is an internationally experienced manager in the software and services industry with extensive transformation expertise in Europe, the United States of America (USA), and Asia.
Former Chief Executive Officer, Michael Eberhardt, will support Jens Amail in assuming the role of CEO and will remain with the company until the end of March 2023 for this purpose.
What does Jens Amail bring to SNP in the role?
Prior to SNP, Jens Amail was responsible for the Greater China region as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at SAP SE. He has held various management positions with SAP since, including: Managing Director for the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland region.
In addition, Jens Amail was Senior Vice President of cloud solutions Europe in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA); and Senior Vice President of services industries. Born in Mannheim in Germany, Jens Amail also has an MBA in computer science and business administration and a PhD in economics. He worked for the Siemens Group for over 10 years before joining SAP, which included many years in various management positions in the USA.
