Shift, a provider of credit and payment platforms for Australian businesses, has appointed Stephanie Olliver to the newly-created role of General Counsel. With responsibility for all strategic and daily legal matters, Stephanie’s role will be critical as Shift continues to scale.
What does Stephanie bring to Shift in the role?
Stephanie has previously held senior legal and company secretary roles at Nano Digital Home Loans and PayPal, where she oversaw the legal team in Australia in relation to a range of products, in addition to collaborating with the leadership team and the Board across matters including credit, payments, banking, privacy and technology. During her career which spans two decades, Stephanie has also held legal roles at Macquarie Group and Morgan Stanley.
Commenting on her appointment, Stephanie said, “As a passionate tech, payments and credit lawyer, I am excited to be part of a tech company that is growing rapidly and providing its business customers with straightforward, digital products that help support their growth.”
