The Digital Academy by Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech) has selected global secure coding company Secure Code Warrior® as one of its 9 pioneer content partners.
It is designed to be a “practitioner for practitioner” academy that operates at the intersection of technology and public service to strengthen the sector’s digital transformation.
What is Secure Code Warrior offering to Singapore?
Scale-up Secure Code Warrior is The Digital Academy’s only Australian partner and will support cyber security skills development through a secure code programme available to all government agencies and targeted towards development teams and AppSec practitioners.
GovTech’s technology practice leads will work closely with content partners including Secure Code Warrior, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google, Trustwave and Tableau.
They will deliver 95 programmes that span application development, data and analytics, digital leadership, and technology and operations management.
Pieter Danhieux, CEO of Secure Code Warrior, said it was positive to see the Singapore Government recognise the fundamental importance of secure coding in digital transformation.

Throughout The Digital Academy’s official launch week, Secure Code Warrior will run one of its Tournaments, challenging public sector developers to solve a series of coding missions based on real code examples while competing to identify, locate and fix vulnerabilities.
