SAP APAC Japan (APJ) announced the appointment of Angela Colantuono to the position of SVP and Head of SAP SuccessFactors Human Experience Management Suite (HXM) in APJ.
The Head of SAP SuccessFactors in ANZ since 2020, Angela steps into the role recently vacated by Aaron Green, who has taken on the global role of Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer (CMSO) for SAP SuccessFactors. The cloud-native SAP SuccessFactors Suite spans core HR and payroll, talent management, HR analytics and workforce planning, and employee experience management, serving more than 218 million users in 45 languages globally.
What does Angela bring to her new role?
SAP SuccessFactors suite delivers individualised experiences keeping employees engaged and productive, and help firms build the workforce agility needed to keep pace with change.
Announcing the hire, SAP President APJ Paul Marriott welcomed Angela’s extensive expertise in human capital management, and her strong leadership credentials. “With flexible work arrangements here to stay, firms are increasingly focused on building and strengthening a supportive work environment, and a culture that prioritises employee wellbeing.”
“In a turbulent environment, where the rapidly evolving nature of work continually creates new challenges, organisations are prioritising the experience of their total workforce,” he said.
What were Angela’s thoughts on the new role?
Angela commented “In this role, I will develop our regional go-to-market strategy, lead a world-class team, and make sure we’re executing effectively across APJ for our customers.”
“I’m passionate about helping clients navigate demands, disruptive competitors, and shifts in the market by building a flexible workforce. HR leaders are being called to go beyond the traditional tools of HR and human capital management, and create work experiences that drive not only engagement and productivity, but also sustainability and profitability.”
Before joining SAP in 2017, Angela Colantuono held a couple of senior positions at Oracle. Angela is currently based in Melbourne, and will continue to work from there in the new role.
