What does the Rendr-Starshipit deal mean for retailers?

The Rendr-Starshipit partnership comes with a multitude of benefits for retailers including multiple on demand delivery options spanning from 3 hours through to same or next day delivery, backed up by 7 day a week customer support and live end to end journey tracking.

According to the 2022 Inside Australian Online Shopping eCommerce Industry Report from
Australia Post, 63% of businesses plan to invest in offering multiple delivery options to consumers with 43% of consumers demanding that delivery is a focal point for retailers.

The capabilities are endless with retailers selling on popular platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, as well as marketplaces such as Amazon and Catch, able to offer customers same day delivery easily at checkout and fulfil with Rendr.

The Rendr-Starshipit partnership allows retailers to use all of Starshipit’s features including generation of packing slips and shipping labels, auto-correction of addresses, branded tracking and notifications, and many more. Similar to Rendr, Starshipit is focused on automating fulfilment and providing a flexible delivery solution to retailers across the nation.

What were the executives’ thoughts on the partnership?

Commenting on the integration, CEO of Starshipit, George Plummer has continued to see the rise and demand for same day delivery, which made the collaboration a no brainer, adding “Choice & convenience is what shoppers are not only wanting but expecting and this deal makes it super easy for retailers to meet these expectations. With On Demand Delivery becoming increasingly important to the industry, this partnership made perfect sense”.

Sonney Roth, CEO of Rendr, says consumers are continuing to demand more choice and convenience when it comes to delivery, with a majority of retailers beginning to invest heavily in advancements to customer experience such as providing consumers with multiple and faster delivery options on checkout. “When customers demand convenience, retailers listen and begin to adapt and involve their capabilities to meet these needs” Roth commented.

“Same day delivery is beginning to become a necessity for retailers with clients not content with waiting for their parcels to arrive. It is also a statement to surprise and delight your customers with an exceptional offering that keeps them coming back for more.” Roth added.
