Remote, the specialist in building, managing, and supporting global distributed workforces, announced the availability of its first-to-market API solution in the Australian market. About 45% of Australian SMEs are planning to hire 20%-30% of their remote workforce from other countries in the next 12-18 months (according to research by IDC sponsored by Remote).
What is the mission behind the API solution?
The Remote API is built for software partners to embed Remote’s employment solution directly within their platforms, giving the firms they serve the ability to effortlessly hire employees, pay their teams in local currencies, and remain compliant with local regulations.
Through a customisable integration, partners can support their customers’ workforce needs in multiple countries all within their own platform, enabling them to scale more efficiently. Remote’s customers can also use the Remote API to build custom integrations to securely sync their employee and contractor data between Remote and their HR tools of choice.
“For modern companies, building a high-performance team requires an ability to acquire the best talent. The Remote API makes it possible for our partners to immediately offer their clients the ability to hire anywhere around the world,” said Chris McNamara, CRO at Remote.
“We’ve meticulously built all the employment infrastructure and compliance knowledge so that our partners and their customers can simply plug in and focus on their core business.”
How effective is the API solution?
The Remote API can be tailored based on each partner’s individual needs, from simple builds to existing processes such as annual leave management, through to a fully embedded, white-labelled solution to manage the entire employment lifecycle from the partner’s platform.
Remote recently partnered with Gusto, a leader in payroll, benefits, and Human Resources serving more than 300,000 businesses in the United States, to launch a solution enabling customers to hire, pay, and manage international employees, quickly and compliantly.
Gusto Global powered by Remote leverages the Remote API to enable clients in the United States to manage and pay their entire global team through the Gusto platform, regardless of whether those team members are in the U.S., international, contract, or full-time.
For partners, layering the Remote API into their platforms means they can offer global employment to clients before they look elsewhere. Learn more about the Remote API here or download the eGuide with strategies on how to embed the API to suit business needs.
