How it all began

Red Belly Active was founded by two golfing friends, Helen Haynes and Shannan Webber.

Four years ago on a Sydney golf course, from humble beginnings, they have since transformed Red Belly Active into a leading player in the world of golfing apparel.

Helen and Shannan have been involved in golf for over 30 years, personally and professionally.

“We struggled to find golf wear that was modern and fit properly.”

“Having played golf, I was shocked at the limited offerings at my club and in golf stores. I knew something had to change,” said Helen Haynes, co-founder and passionate golfer.

They planned to change the golf apparel industry and attract golfers to the game they love.

The booming golf market

Not only has golf become a growth sport during these challenging times, but it has thrived.

The industry has experienced a surge of new golfers to the game. Tee times are scarce and there has been 126% increase in membership demand during the COVID pandemic.

Designs that stand out on course

Shannan Webber, leads the design of every collection at Red Belly Active. Her modern style, eye for new designs and skill in choosing prints that sell-out are key to the brand’s success.

“We draw inspiration from our unique Australian landscape and culture.”

“Each product is crafted to suit the needs of modern, active golfers. We know what golfers want and we work hard to deliver this with modern designs and high performing fabrics.”
