Olympic 100m Champion Marcell Jacobs joins PUMA’s athlete line-up

Sports company PUMA signed an agreement with Olympic 100 meters Champion Marcell Jacobs from Italy, to wear the company’s products starting at the Orlen Cup in Lodz.

Who is Marcell Jacobs?

Even though he started out his career as a long jumper, Jacobs has won a series of titles in the sprint over the past years, including Olympic Gold in the 100 meters and the 4×100 meter relay events. He is also the reigning European 100 meters Champion and the World and European 60 meters indoor Champion. His personal best is 100 meters in 9.80 seconds.

With 1.1 million followers on Instagram, where he is known as ‘crazylongjumper’, Marcell Jacobs reaches a large audience of fans around the world. The combination of his athletic success and his great personal style makes him an ideal ambassador for PUMA.
