Magnite, the independent sell-side advertising platform, announced that James Young will remain as Managing Director of Australia for Magnite following the acquisition of SpotX.
Juliette Stead will continue to lead Magnite across Asia Pacific and Japan in her role of Senior VP, Head of JAPAC, while Gavin Buxton has been appointed Managing Director of Asia.
Nikola Small has been appointed as Seller Lead in Australia where she will head up Magnite’s growing publisher accounts team and develop key relationships with Magnite’s portfolio of broadcaster and publisher clients, with greater revenue responsibility.
Nikola has worked at Magnite and Rubicon Project in client facing roles. This follows Magnite’s acquisition of SpotX, which created the largest independent CTV and video ad platform.
Magnite boasts an increased headcount and omnichannel strength due to the combined experience across all digital ad formats and recent investment in its APAC data center.

Recent local announcements for Magnite in Australia include supporting Seven West Media with programmatic trading for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 programming.
Additionally, Seven West Media was one of the first global publishers to adopt Magnite’s Unified Decisioning product which launched earlier this year.
