lululemon recently unveiled its newly renovated store at ifc mall. First opened in 2015, the ifc mall store is lululemon’s first official retail location in the city, and has witnessed the brand’s strategic growth throughout the years. The refurbished store strengthens lululemon’s dedication in promoting wellbeing, fostering community, and inspiring a healthy lifestyle.

What is the market offering of the revamped ifc mall?

With an area of over 2,700 sq ft, the renovated store will continue to be the hotspot for guests looking for high-quality gear, versatile everyday pieces, and a space to connect.

Local Art Immersion

Located in one of Hong Kong’s most vibrant neighbourhood, where global financial hub meets artistic creativity, the store features a tailored art wall by Hong Kong street art collective, Parents Parents, to celebrate the unique culture of this dynamic city. Grounded in lululemon’s vision of wellbeing for all, the art piece incorporates the message “BE WELL” in wavy typography to symbolize versatility of the brand’s gear in enabling guests to achieve this goal.

Weaved between the decorative alphabets are contour lines that represent the hiking trails near Central and beyond – an invitation and reminder to guests to explore the city’s nature.

Sustainability At Its Core

With sustainability being one of the brand’s core principles, elements including the storefront logo wordmark, wooden fences behind the men’s pants wall, fitting room shelves and stools are made with reclaimed logs from fallen trees during typhoons from HK Timberbank, bringing second life to local timber while creating meaningful connection with the local community.

The ifc mall store continues to offer extensive selections of gear and accessories for both male and female guests, suitable for all occasions – be it yoga, fitness training or work.

Signature franchises such as yoga, run and train are available alongside tennis and golf collections, empowering our guests to feel and perform their best in whichever pursuits they choose. The stylish and chic On The Move range is also available for guests looking for comfortable everyday outfits for their casual working days and when they are out and about.

What does this mean for lululemon?

Gareth Pope, Senior Vice President, lululemon, Asia Pacific commented, “We are excited to announce the expansion of our first official store in Hong Kong at ifc mall, with an elevated experience for our guests. This investment shows our belief in the strength of this market and our confidence of further growth across the Asia Pacific market. We look forward to connecting with more guests in Hong Kong and inspiring them to pursue their own wellbeing.”

As part of the store reopening celebrations and to express gratitude to guests for their support over the past years, from August 19th onwards, the first 300 guests who make a purchase of HK$1,800 or above will receive a limited-edition tote bag while stocks last.
