IAB Australia announced that Adele Wieser, Regional MD, APAC, Index Exchange, has been appointed as the Chair of its Executive Technology Council (ETC). Additionally, Wieser, who has replaced Angus Keene, will become the ETC representative on the IAB Australia board.
What is the IAB Executive Technology Council?
The IAB ETC was launched in 2017 to take full advantage of the IAB’s scale, competencies, and member base to identify and address critical issues in advertising technology innovation.
The IAB ETC has four main priority projects for 2023: supporting IAB Australia’s successful mentorship program; assisting the industry prepare for privacy changes and signal loss; continuing cross industry work on programmatic transparency as well as continuing to support the work of other IAB councils and provide technical support for the IAB Board.
The IAB ETC includes representatives from media and technology companies including Carsales, Cartology, DoubleVerify, Google, Index Exchange, InMobi, Integral Ad Science, Magnite, Microsoft Advertising, News Corp, Nine, Pinterest, PlaygroundXYZ, PubMatic, Quantcast, REA, Seven, Spotify, The Guardian, The Trade Desk, Twitter, Xandr and Yahoo!
What does the appointment mean for IAB Australia?
