Compare Club has launched a personal finance publication called Expert Analysis, as part of the next strategic stage of its ExpertEase platform. The publication features in-house experts and freelance journalists breaking down the news around complex financial products like insurance, loans and other financial news in a way that’s easy-to-understand for households.
Who edited the publication?
The publication was edited by Martine Allars, with 25 years’ editorial experience & previously edited Bauer Media’s parenting titles & commissioning editor at Australian Geographic.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this project. Expert Analysis offers the same expert-led service that Compare Club is known for, Just like Compare Club’s experts do over the phone, it breaks down complex and confusing money issues, making them simple for Australians to understand so they can make the best possible decisions based on their unique needs & circumstances.”
What is the product offering the consumers?
Compare Club CMO Rich McPharlin said, “The launch of the publication is the first part in a new phase of the company’s growth strategy & fills a gap in the market for financial literacy & empowerment. Our mission is to be the first place Aussies go to for financial empowerment.”
“Our research identified that a lot of personal finance news didn’t really give Australians a clear take away about how these issues impacted their finances. At a time when managing cost of living is a challenge for many Australians, we saw an obvious way to add value to the thousands of households who use Compare Club to save money each month,” Rich added.
“By distilling the important info on money issues & presenting it on an easy-to-digest site, we want our experts to empower Aussies with the info they need to control their finances.”
