Australian drone manufacturer and solutions provider, Carbonix, is partnering with Quickstep Holdings, Australia’s largest independent manufacturer of aerospace composites to manufacture aerostructures for its Volanti drones. Volanti is Carbonix’s smallest all electric fixed-wing VTOL UAV (Vertical take-off and landing Un-crewed Aerial Vehicle). The deal is the foundation of a broader manufacturing partnership which will, in future, include all Carbonix platforms.

Milliken & Company, a diversified manufacturer with a portfolio of textile, specialty chemical, floor covering and healthcare innovations, named Patrick Keese as its Executive VP and President of Milliken’s Floor Covering Business. Effective July 25, Keese will lead Milliken’s international floor covering operation, spanning four continents and 290 product collections.

Lenovo has opened the doors to its first in-house manufacturing facility in Europe. Based in Ullo, Hungary, the factory focuses on building server infrastructure, storage systems and high-end PC workstations used by clients across Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.
