HubSpot in cohort with Asia Pacific’s top brands to grant upskilling services

HubSpot, the customer relationship management (CRM) platform for scaling companies, announced the launch of ‘The Great Upskill’, which will see brands across APAC including Google ANZ, MessageMedia, Meltwater, Seismic, and Aircall, give their employees a full workday during the week of May 9–13 to dedicate to upskilling and job-related learning. The movement comes on the back of research from HubSpot, which found 71% of Aussie workers wish their employer placed higher value on job-related learning and upskilling, with four out of five saying it’s bumped to the bottom of the to-do list when work gets busy.

Brand Jamaica predicted to leverage opportunities for manufacturers

Brand Jamaica will be highlighted at the 126th staging of Penn Relays, which will be held from April 28-30, 2022, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Five Jamaican manufacturers, Annilu Ltd, Herboo, King’s Jamaican Health and Wellness, Bresheh, and Shavuot International, will chat with buyers and retailers to promote their products thus increase Jamaica’s export sales. The trade mission is taking place as part of the export development programme Export Max III, which is led by JAMPRO, the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC), and the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA). The event will highlight the island’s diverse manufacturing sector, and the products that are available for export.

Samsung premieres its B2B partner program for enterprise in Australia

Samsung Electronics Australia unveiled Samsung One, the company’s new flagship business partner program, which will initially be offered to select Samsung distributors for its Mobile Experience division. The products and solutions included within the Mobile Experience portfolio include smartphones, tablets, wearables and Samsung Knox security and mobility services. The initiative combines marketing toolkits, sales enablement assets, product information, news and commercial incentives through a single platform, and a training program that can be accessed via desktop/mobile app. Plans are underway to introduce a rewards program.
