Jetcraft appoints Gerald Hooper and Laurence Vidal to senior sales roles

Jetcraft, the business aircraft sales and acquisitions company, has appointed Gerald Hooper and Laurence Vidal to senior sales roles in the Americas. The hires position Jetcraft to meet demand throughout the continent and further expand its on-the-ground market intelligence. As Aircraft Sales Director, Gerald Hooper will lead Jetcraft’s business development in the US West Coast territories, including Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Prior to joining Jetcraft, Gerald Hooper was Director of Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions at Executive Aircraft Services (EAS), working with corporate clients and aircraft worldwide.

ConsenSys successfully raises $450 million in Series D funding round

ConsenSys announced the close of a $450m financing round, bringing its valuation to over $7bn. ParaFi Capital led this raise after participating in its Series C round in November 2021. New investors also joined, like Temasek, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Microsoft, Anthos Capital, Sound Ventures, and C Ventures. Series C investors — Third Point, Marshall Wace, TRUE Capital Management, and UTA VC, United Talent Agency’s venture fund — also participated in this round. Sullivan & Cromwell LLP acted as ConsenSys’ legal advisor in this transaction.
