One of Australia’s first business-grade SMS gateway providers, SMSGlobal is this year celebrating its 15th anniversary since getting into Australia. With over half a million users globally, the company is tasked with sending more than 1.2 billion SMS messages each year. Founded in 2007 by 2013 Ernst & Young its Entrepreneur of The Year nominee Carl Krumins, SMSGlobal quickly grew into an international operation, providing mobile messaging, platform development solutions and API for businesses, now in every country around the world.

Sensor Tower expands to Australia to aid access to mobile app insights

Sensor Tower, an industry market intelligence company used by several big global brands such as Nestle, Twitter, HBO, and Target, has announced its expansion into Australia. Businesses with a local app will now have access to Sensor Tower’s digital market intelligence data, which provides key app performance metrics like consumer spending, downloads, ad impressions, share of voice, and engagement for competitors’ products on Google Play and Apple’s App Store. 

WA Police and Motorola deliver world-first Apple CarPlay mobile application

Motorola Solutions and Western Australia Police (WA Police) have delivered the world’s first public safety mobile application to operate within Apple CarPlay. The new integration extends the use of Western Australia Police’s OneForce Core application, enabling frontline officers to manage key operational workflows from within their police vehicles through CarPlay. Drivers can also use voice control features for safe operation while staying focused on the road. The technology is based on Motorola Solutions’ PSCore public safety mobile application that integrates critical operational information from multiple WA Police systems, presenting it through a single, intuitive interface.

HP ANZ announces Ruben Ahmed as its new Director of Marketing
