Australian used car platform, Carma, announced a one-year partnership with Hoops Capital, as a Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames sponsor for the NBL23 and WNBL23 season. The agreement sees Carma become Hoops Capital’s official used car dealership partner, a Sydney Flames official partner, and the front-of-short partner for the Sydney Kings basketball team.

What were the executives’ thoughts on the partnership?

Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Yosuke Hall said Carma is delighted to be the newest Hoops Capital partner. “As Carma grows its presence in Sydney and around Australia, our new partnership with Hoops Capital sees two innovative firms join forces,” Hall said.

“Much like Hoops Capital, Carma is a grassroots Australian organisation that aims to develop bright Australian talent that raise the bar and create exceptional experiences. We’re looking forward to supporting the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames through the 2022-23 season.”

Hoops Capital Chief Executive Officer Sean Nicholls explained the partnership will help to grow both Sydney-based companies. “We’re really excited to team up with Carma, who much like us at Hoops Capital, is extremely ambitious and uses the latest technologies to grow their business. I can’t wait to see where this teaming up can take us,” Nicholls commented.

The partnership between Carma and Hoops Capital began in October 2022.
