TuffStuff Fitness International, Inc. (TUFFSTUFF), an American strength equipment manufacturer and fitness innovator for over five decades, was acquired by metals processing and fabrication company Brooks Industrial Marketplace (BROOKS) on December 16, 2022.
What does this mean for TUFFSTUFF?
The move to acquire TuffStuff Fitness International began in early December last year as Brooks Industrial Marketplace saw an opportunity to expand their production in Southern California while adding strategic machinery and experienced personnel to their U.S. team.
“We have now integrated many of our key technical experts from the BROOKS teams with the proud and talented team members at TUFFSTUFF. This blend of highly skilled professionals will increase our production efficiencies, reduce order lead times, and vastly improve our overall performance,” said Rick Reyes, Executive Vice President at TUFFSTUFF.

What does the acquisition mean for BROOKS?
Also, BROOKS is a multi-generational company that provides innovative metals processing, fabrication, engineering and manufacturing services to an international customer base. By purchasing TUFFSTUFF, BROOKS acquired an additional 116,000 sq. ft. production facility, numerous patents and a comprehensive lineup of retail and commercial strength products.
