What does Simi bring to B dynamic Logistics in the role?

“We are delighted to welcome Simi Taumalolo. Simi brings with him many years of senior experience in supply chain management and third-party logistics and his expertise and industry knowledge will be invaluable as we implement our growth strategy over the coming months,” B dynamic Logistics, Founder and Managing Director, Mal Siriwardhane said.

“B dynamic Logistics is expanding nationally to introduce more warehouse sites to our physical footprint of warehouse and logistics offerings. In addition, we are also launching a new cutting-edge proprietary software platform that will facilitate and track our management of end-to-end logistics including reverse logistics with enhanced and unparalleled precision.”

“This new system will also provide our customers and their customers with unrivalled transparency in the visibility of parcel movement. Our rapid growth and introduction of new assets and customer focused tech will require superior industry specific project management capabilities to ensure the integration is seamless and our ongoing growth and business operations will require extensive operational expertise, all of which Simi has in abundance.”

“Simi has held various senior management roles and has also been responsible for the implementation of large-scale warehousing and distribution solutions. We welcome him to our team and look forward to Simi applying this wealth of experience to our business.”

What were Simi’s thoughts on the new role?

Simi will be located in B dynamic Logistics’ headquarters in Sydney, NSW. “I am really pleased to join B dynamic Logistics. It is a wonderful company, with a strong value proposition, offering flexible supply chain and logistics solutions to customers. With so much focus on standardisation, many customers are forced to fit a standardised model, B dynamic Logistics offers clients flexibility and agility, whilst focusing on efficiency and value,” Taumalolo said.

“It is exciting to be part of such a dynamic organisation that is growing and expanding across the country and I am looking forward to playing a key role in helping the business to further strengthen its market leadership and expand its range of extraordinary services.”

“The current customer portfolio is shared between traditional Business to Business (B2B) solutions and Business to Consumer (B2C), spread across various sectors, including grocery/wholesale, consumer, retail, mining, construction, technology and healthcare.”

“Scaling involves many aspects of the business and it is important to bring clients along as part of the journey. Alongside our wonderful team at B dynamic Logistics, I will be working with clients to show the benefits of our investment in assets and tech to augment and improve our products, services and solutions. For example, B dynamic Logistics utilises an in-house built and developed software, an integration layer called the ‘B dynamic advantage’.

“This integration layer connects to client systems, warehouse management systems and transporter systems, providing clients with extensive integration options, custom data feeds, business intelligence, dashboards, reporting etc. Whatever the client needs, we can customise and build, this is where B dynamic Logistics has a point of difference in the market,” he added.

The group has grown significantly over the last five years amassing an impressive portfolio of clients including Dymocks, Dettol, ALDI, Costco and Universal Music Group, and others.
