SaaS and data management platform firm AvePoint has appointed Max McNamara as Vice President and Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand. Max joined AvePoint in August 2022 as Director of Solutions Engineering after a decade at Microsoft-focused professional services consultancy, Antares Solutions, where he previously was the General Manager.
What does Max bring to AvePoint in the role?
In his new role, Max will focus on the development and execution of AvePoint’s ANZ strategy by working with internal teams, channel partners and clients to help them migrate, manage and protect data leveraging the AvePoint Confidence Platform. AvePoint runs an advanced platform for SaaS and data management to optimise operations and secure collaboration.

What is the market offering of AvePoint?
The organisation offers the only full suite of SaaS solutions to migrate, manage and protect data in Microsoft 365. The need for Australia and New Zealand organisations to optimise their SaaS operations and secure their collaboration is rising rapidly. According to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), there were 497 notifiable data breaches reported in the second half of 2022, a 26% increase compared to the previous six months.
