One in three Australians has one or more dietary requirements, which constantly inhibits them from enjoying a meal at a cafe and restaurant with ease and joy.
A new app, eatwell app takes away the frustration about dining out for those with specific dietary needs by turning their dining experiences into recommendations for others.
The app allows users to rate dining venues according to their suitability for any one or more dietary requirements such as coeliac disease, vegan, halal, dairy free and more.
Users can access these reviews when planning to dine out to know if a venue is suitable for them and have confidence they will have a positive dining experience.
By entering their dietary requirements, users can filter menu items of thousands of recommended venues according to their dietary requirements.
The creator of eatwell app, El Salem made the following insights.
“The app was born out of my own struggles to find suitable cafes to eat at, considering my own food intolerances. I was fed up with spending hours researching menus of dining venues before every social event, dinner date or takeaway meal, so I found a solution.”
eatwell gives the subscriber ability to easily find interests
Eatwell app gives diners freedom, enabling them to research menus from their mobile.
People no longer need to feel like a hassle for their medical needs or personal choices when it comes to food. Instead, users can be empowered to make choices that reflect their medical requirements and personal choice, while also enjoying their favourite cuisine.
El launched eatwell app in September 2021. Since the launch of the app, 953 users have already signed up and reviews of dining venues have been flowing in.
El’s mission is to give diners with dietary requirements confidence and certainty when it comes to choosing where to eat out. Using the app, people can see vetted restaurant recommendations, see a menu just for them and share their own reviews.
The app is available on iPhone and Android and is free to download and use.
