90 Seconds launches interactive video production locations map to help brands during coronavirus

As the global situation with coronavirus evolves, the demand for video content has surged as people continue to work at home and interact online.

GWI reports that 87% of U.S. consumers and 80% of UK consumers have increased media consumption since the outbreak – and millennials are increasingly consuming content by live stream (30%) or podcast (20%).

To help brands adapt quickly to new consumption trends – while also understanding the changing landscape of government regulations – 90 Seconds has released a video production locations map during coronavirus, an invaluable resource to show brands which video production locations are open.

How did 90 Seconds create this map?

90 Seconds was able to look at the aggregate data in its platform and turn to its network of over 12,000 video creators across 900 cities and 160 countries to provide this interactive video production locations map.

In Asia, locations such as Hong Kong, Japan and China are ending their lockdown as are various EU locations, including Germany, Norway and Austria. If there is a specific country in mind, brands can type the country name directly in the empty field on the right, or scroll down the full list to view.

Brands can also take a closer look at the US by clicking between the Global and US segmented controls on the top right. In the U.S., more than 20 states have partial restrictions currently including Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

The release of this interactive video production locations map comes in conjunction with an update of safe video production standards for all of 90 Seconds’ video productions. Adhering to hygienic and social distancing measures at every video production is extremely important to ensure that brands and creators alike stay safe and healthy while creating video content.

Furthermore, 90 Seconds has created solutions such as Safe Video Shoot, Directed Safe Video Shoot and Creator Home Studio Shoot, with additional requirements to best suit brands’ needs. For more information, head to 90seconds.com.
